CQRID CEU Provider Program

Become a CQRID CEU Provider

The CQRID CEU Provider Program
The CQRID (Council for Qualification of Residential Interior Designers) Continuing Education Unit Provider Program is designed to provide continuing education opportunities to Certified Residential Interior Designers through a variety of resources.

There are 3 types of CEU Providers:

Individual Provider
Corporate Provider
Conference Provider

By participating in the CQRID CEU Provider Program, CEU providers separate their program from other programs in the residential interior design industry. It also provides the distinction that the program is solely for the residential interior design field and meets the standards set forth by the CQRID program. CQRID CEU Providers have instant credibility in the residential interior design field, access to the residential interior designers market, promotional assistance for their program, and web exposure. Once a program is approved, the CEU provider will receive the CQRID Approved CEU Program logo, publicity and marketing for the CEU program, and the opportunity to present at the Interior Design Society’s market seminars, national conferences, and webinars. Learning modules, online certificate programs, and workshops will also be considered for CEUs. Since CEUs are based on the number of contact hours in a lecture format, a workshop or hands-on seminar must be at least one hour in length to obtain .1 CEU.  Once a CQRID CEU Provider’s program becomes a CQRID Approved CEU Program, the Provider may present the program as a live event, a webinar, or another acceptable online format.

CEUs are based on the number of contact (or clock) hours in instruction. One contact hour = .1 CEU, so 10 contact hours = 1 CEU.

*The Council for Qualification of Residential Interior Designers requires CQRID Certified Designers to acquire .8 CEUs every 2 years.

All CQRID Approved CEU Programs will be maintained in a CQRID database and will be listed on the CQRID and Interior Design Society (IDS) websites. All webinars or other online programs will be accessible to CQRID Certified Designers and other Residential Interior Designers through an on-demand library or the IDS Store, both located on the IDS website. Should an approved provider decide not to make a webinar or online recording available through a library, the program will not be promoted in the on-demand library or the IDS Store. Approved CQRID providers will also be listed in the IDS Speakers Bureau and have a link to their individual website.

All CQRID Approved CEU Programs must contain the CQRID “Approved CEU” logo on the first slide of the presentation and in any marketing materials to promote the program.

Benefits of Becoming a CQRID CEU Provider
⇒The distinction that the program you provide is solely for the residential interior design field and meets the standards set forth by the CQRID program. You will be able to use the CQRID CEU Approved logo once the Program has been accepted.

Instant credibility in the residential interior design industry.

Promotional Assistance for your program including marketing to Residential Interior Designers and others in the Residential Interior Design Industry. Your program will be listed as an Approved CEU Program on the CQRID website and the Interior Design Society website. Approved programs that are recorded will be added to the online library for purchase by those in the Residential Interior Design Industry for on-demand viewing.

You will be added to the Interior Design Society’s Speakers Bureau as a preferred provider. You will also receive preferred status for Interior Design Society events such as conferences, seminars, regional meetings, and workshops.

Additional web exposure through your listing on the CQRID website and Interior Design Society website, including a link to your website. A link to your website will also be in your listing in the Interior Design Society’s Speakers Bureau.
